Delete your OT Saver account

Option 1 - Delete from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open the OT Saver app on your Android device.
2. Tap the Profile / Settings icon (bottom navigation).
3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
4. Confirm deletion when prompted.
5. Your account will be removed within minutes. You will be signed out and no longer able to access OT Saver features tied to that account.

Option 2 - Request deletion by email

1. Send an email to privacy@otsaver.com from the email address registered with your OT Saver account.
2. Use subject line: "Account deletion request".
3. Include your full name and registered email in the body.
4. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Request partial data deletion

If you'd like to delete only specific data without removing your entire account - for example, your search history, saved offers, or location data - email privacy@otsaver.com with the subject line "Partial data deletion request". Specify which data categories you want deleted.

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the partial deletion within 30 days. Your account itself will remain active and you'll continue to have access to OT Saver.

What gets deleted

• Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Saved offers and favourites
• Search history within the app
• Redemption history (offer codes you used)
• Authentication credentials (password hash, OAuth tokens)
• Push notification tokens
• Approximate location data tied to your account

What is retained and for how long

• Transactional and financial records (offer redemptions tied to merchant payouts): retained for 7 years, as required by UAE commercial and tax law.
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics (counts, usage patterns): may be retained indefinitely. This data cannot be linked back to your identity.
• Records of your deletion request itself: retained for 12 months for compliance auditing.
