OT Saver ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

Account information (name, email, phone number)
Profile information (display name, selected city, preferences)
Subscription status (including the phone number used to start your 7-day free trial)
Usage data (offers viewed, favorites saved on your device, redemptions)
Push notification tokens (if you allow notifications)

We do not collect precise device location from your phone. Maps and offer lists use partner business addresses stored on our servers and the city you select in the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and improve our services
Verify your email and phone number
Manage your subscription trial and redemptions
Show offers based on your selected city and preferences
Send notifications about new offers and updates (with your permission)
Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
Comply with legal obligations under UAE law

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

Service providers (Google Firebase, Resend for email verification) who help operate the app
Business partners when you redeem an offer at their venue
Legal authorities when required by UAE law

Stripe is used only for separate merchant partnership fees on our business dashboards—not to process consumer subscription payments inside the OT Saver app.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

When you visit our website at otsaver.com, we and our partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies:

Necessary cookies: required for the website to work correctly. We do not currently set any first-party necessary cookies; your language preference and sign-in state are stored locally in your browser, not in a cookie.
Analytics cookies: with your consent, Google Analytics (delivered through Google Tag Manager) helps us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
Advertising cookies: with your consent, Google Ads sets cookies to measure and personalize the ads we show you.

Non-essential cookies are only set after you choose to allow them. On your first visit to the website you can Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences to choose individual categories. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer; withdrawing consent stops new analytics and advertising cookies from being set and clears existing ones from your browser.

Our mobile app does not use browser cookies and does not require cookie consent.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases as set out in the UAE PDPL:

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the Profile screen.

10. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (such as Google Firebase and Resend) operate servers outside the United Arab Emirates. When we transfer your data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses and the security measures required by these providers. By using OT Saver, you acknowledge and consent to such international transfers.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

12. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected users within the timeframes required by the PDPL.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email.
